Math is one of my stronger subjects because I can understand it more the my other classes. Don't get me wrong, math is still really, really hard but with math there are no feelings, unlike humanities, with math there is just right and wrong. It's structured, as well as straight forward, it is linear and concrete. Memory is something that I struggle a lot with in math, it's not so much the “harder concepts” that i struggle with it's the “simpler concepts”. Sometime I can't remember how to do the supposedly simple task of subtraction, addition, multiplication and division. I learned how to use a calculator. I have also gained math skills such as how to solve a grade level trigonometry problems, and a more solid knowledge on algebruh. As I said before I struggle with remembering things which has a negative effect on me when I try to do trigonometry because the only way that I can figure out the problem is because of the word sohcahtoa. The habit of a mathematician that I need to work on is communication and telling others what i'm thinking, the reason I need to work on this is because I really really suck at talking or making my need known. The habit of a mathematician that I think I am okay at is generating ideas. Unfortunately my ideas usually don't work the way that I would have liked. I don't have a worksheet or anything like that but sometimes I knowtes that when I'm trying to get the answer my mind trails off to a vary abstract way that most of the time doesn’t work.
